Can your team cover the whole property?

Crews with several trades can put forward a complete property package. Identify the work you perform directly and any proposed subcontractors.

Introduce your team

Supporting work is allocated only where required. No contractor is expected to perform licensed work outside its authorisations. The approved work order defines the package.

From introduction to mobilisation

Tell us your trade.
Show us your capacity.
Let’s plan the work.

We’re looking for realistic commitments: the crews you can supply, the places you can cover and the work you can finish to the required standard.

Your trade. Your regions. Your available crews.

  1. 01 /

    Introduce your business

Tell us your trades, base location, delivery regions, crew capacity and earliest mobilisation date.

  2. 02 /

    Confirm capability and scope

Provide licences, insurance, relevant experience and referees. Discuss the package, delivery method, rates and any declared exclusions.

  3. 03 /

    Complete onboarding

Agree the subcontract particulars, crew supervision, safety documents, inductions and project system training before field mobilisation.

  4. 04 /

    Deliver and close out

Complete the allocated works, commissioning, certificates, photographs and resident handover. Submit complete records with your claim.

Before your crew starts

A capable crew.
A clear agreement.

We’ll assess the fit between your resources and the allocated work. Your business contracts with Gridwork, with scope, rates and delivery expectations agreed through the contractor process.

Put your crew forward

Have these ready for review

Relevant company and trade licences, individual worker licences and refrigerant authorisations where applicable.
Current insurance evidence: $20 million public liability per occurrence, workers compensation as applicable and vehicle cover for project vehicles.
Relevant occupied housing experience, three recent project references, crew structure and supervision.
WHS procedures and SWMS, quality checks, environmental controls and property evidence capability.
A realistic mobilisation plan, complete pricing, declared assumptions and proposed subcontractors.

Documents are reviewed through the contractor onboarding process. Send an introduction first; the team will confirm what is needed for your package.

Payment terms that recognise performance

The contractor conditions provide a standard 30 day term, with shorter categories available at Gridwork’s discretion based on delivery, quality, compliance and documentation.

Gold7 days
Silver14 days
Bronze21 days
Standard30 days

The applicable category and payment terms are governed by your executed subcontract and may be reviewed. The conditions also specify 2.5% retention for performance, defects and recalls, released under the subcontract terms.

Work is allocated by approved package, property and region. Volumes depend on the program, access, capacity and performance. An introduction is the start of a contractor assessment, not a guaranteed allocation.

Contractor questions

Know the package
before you commit.

Has Gridwork secured the project?

Yes. Gridwork has secured the SHEPI air conditioning and associated energy efficiency works and is seeking contractors to carry out allocated packages. You would contract with Gridwork, rather than bid for the head contract.

Can I put forward just one trade?

Yes. Introduce your business for a specific trade, several trades or a complete property package. State what you perform directly, your available crews, preferred regions and any proposed subcontractors.

Do I need to supply the equipment?

Supply and installation, and installation only, are both identified in the work packages. The team will confirm who supplies equipment and materials for your allocation. Do not assume a supply arrangement before agreeing the scope and rates.

Are supporting trades needed at every property?

No. Gas decommissioning, insulation, asbestos work, scaffolding and building repairs are property specific and require an approved allocation. Electrical and refrigerant activities must be performed by appropriately licensed personnel.

How are rates and payment agreed?

Rates are agreed through the contractor process and should include the ordinary costs of delivering the specified item. Claims need the required supporting work and evidence records. Standard payment is 30 days; shorter performance categories are discretionary. The executed subcontract governs the applicable terms and retention.

What should I send first?

Send your business name, trade capability, contact details, preferred zones, available crews and earliest start date. Mention relevant occupied housing experience. The form below sends your introduction directly to the Gridwork project team.

Put your crew forward

Tell us what you do.
And where you
can get to work.

A strong introduction is practical. Your trade, your regions, your people and your availability. Give the project team enough detail to discuss the right package.
